Our Directory:

Chameleon maintains a database of all of our trainees' certifications and courses taken via our proprietary Guardian by Chameleon™ platform. The information stored in our directory includes but not limited to:

  • Trainee's full name and badge number
  • Course module the trainee participated in
  • Test results
  • Trainer who delivered the course
  • Certification level obtained

There are three basic Chameleon Associates certification types: Threat Mitigation , Tactical Response and Master Security, in addition to Certified Trainer. See descriptions below for more information on the course curriculum and requirements.

Types of Security Certifications Available:

THREAT MITIGATION OFFICER – TMO

Level 1: Proactive Threat Assessment (8 hrs)
Level 2: Security Questioning and Access Control (8 hrs)
Level 3: Surveillance Detection and Advanced Security Questioning

TACTICAL RESPONSE OFFICER – TSO

Prerequisite: TMO Level 1; pass physical test.
Level 1: Tactical shooting (8 hrs)
Level 2: Enhanced Tactical Training (8 hrs)
Level 3: Sharp Edge Weapons and Defensive Tactics (8 hrs)
Level 4 Advanced Tactical Training (16 hrs)

MASTER SECURITY OFFICER – MSO

Prerequisite: TMO Level 1; pass physical test.
Level 1: Basic Security Supervision (8 hrs)
Level 2: Enhanced SupervisionTraining (8 hrs)
Level 3 Advanced Supervision Training (8 hrs)

CERTIFIED CHAMELEON TRAINER

Prerequisite: 10 years or more of tactical security experience in LE, SWAT, Security or Military
One week of TTT Training and pass the test
For Tactical Trainer: active state-licensed firearms instructor
