Don Paz Ph.D., will discuss how modern violent extremist movements take shape and form using the internet and social media. He will describe the phenomenon of "Organic Terrorism" in which political violence morphs into a popular movement with limited tactical means, unstructured leadership but with a very large group of followers, believers and potential martyrs. The presenter will discuss ways to counter this phenomenon using social, political, intelligence and tactical tools.
